Prior to establishing The Workplace Yogi Emma worked in the corporate world as a Senior HR Director. Whilst working in the corporate world Emma realised that yoga and mindfulness practices provided a simple and effective method for enhancing overall wellness and enabling people to reach their full potential. An experienced Yoga and Mindfulness teacher, Emma has traveled the world to further her practice and teaching experience and is a registered Yoga Alliance teacher and Lakshmi Voelker Chair Yoga certified. Through The Workplace Yogi, Emma and her team teach yoga and mindfulness practices to employees at their offices all over the UAE increasing health, happiness and energy in the workplace.
Payal believes Yoga is nurturing, soothing and empowering. She believes Yoga takes care of developing and ‘discovering’ ourselves on all levels: physical, emotional, psychological, intellectual and spiritual. She loves to teach and learn constantly from inspiring teachers from different parts of the world and is currently working towards her 500 hours certification.
The search for inner peace and healing brought Lara onto the yogic path. Lara believes that students of all levels can experience full benefits of the yoga practice – connect with themselves, go inwards and experience peace, healing and deeper understanding, by bringing the awareness to breath in their every day lives.
Saba has been practising yoga for over 10 years and is a dedicated practitioner of Ashtanga yoga. As a teacher, she encourages her students to find their own strength from within using the tools of postures and breath to grow independent and powerful in their own practice. Her teacher training has included 900hr at The Yoga Institute Mumbai.
Tracy is a fully certified Yoga Therapy and Pilates instructor. Her philosophy and approach about ensuring her clients really understand the basic core strengthening and postural awareness before moving on to more advanced levels. As she came from a Pilates background she has an extensive knowledge of working with the small deep stabilising muscles and combines this knowledge with Yoga concepts in her classes to take the best from each discipline which is now commonly referred to as Yogalates.
Tara is a certified yoga instructor with 300-hrs of training in therapeutic yoga to address anxiety, and stress. She likes to work with groups and individuals to develop and nurture optimum physical and psychological wellness.
Sneha is internationally certified by the Sivananda Vedanta Centre (Kerela) & The Yoga Institute Mumbai, she also practiced with elite Yoga Masters from different schools of Yoga and incorporates the Iyenger methods while practicing and teaching.Her class is appropriate for students of all levels.
Musab Ali is both a Yoga teacher and cross fitter who is passionate about teaching yoga to everyone! Ali completed his RYT 200 with Fit Republic School of Yoga and has been teaching yoga since then to all different groups of people, including corporate yoga for people in offices who need to find ways to move during the day and to Olympic weight lifters.
Emma is from the UK and currently living in Dubai. She trained as a contemporary dancer at the University of Chichester gaining a degree In Dance. Emma then went on to attain her PGCE teaching qualification becoming Head of dance and teaching BTEC and A level dance in further education.
Dennise has always been dedicated to seeking deeper meaning to everything in her life. After leaving the corporate world as an HR professional a few years ago, she decided to turn her life upside down to travel to Thailand for a Yoga training, where she not only became a certified teacher but also experienced the true meaning of practicing yoga.
Health and Wellness Guide Brittany D. Costa works with individuals on becoming healthier by guiding them through proper physical fitness,healthy nutrition and leading a positive and balanced lifestyle. Brittany was previously based in the Greater New York City area prior to moving to Dubai in 2014.
