We also believe that it is possible to maintain your well-being, optimism and confidence even when faced with the busiest and most challenging work environments. Our most popular Mindfulness training program, Thriving Minds Well-being focuses on developing the skill of well-being through a combination of Mindfulness and attention training practices which incorporate emotional intelligence, Neuroscience and the development of robust and healthy mental practices and workplace effectiveness techniques. This course offers theory and practice and at the end of it you will not only have a thorough understanding of Mindfulness and it’s benefits, you will have been able to establish a regular practice inside and outside of work.  Each session combines guided mindfulness practices, awareness techniques, discussions around the practical application of mindfulness both at work and at home, and exploration of the principles of mindfulness in relation to life and work.  Participants learn how to train their attention so they can become more aware of unhelpful habits, mental habits and stories contributing to stress, and learn how to work with challenging situations in a more creative, resourceful and skillful way.

 

Based on our experience of working with companies and individuals and based on published research, course participants can expect to learn the following skills:

  • Develop greater self-awareness.
  • Improve your ability to manage yourself and your emotions more skillfully even in the most difficult situations.
  • Understand your triggers in life and learn to respond for a win-win outcome.

This program can be delivered in 8 parts over 8 weeks, in 4 half days or 2 full days.  We can also offer this program in short weekly classes where we work with you over a longer period of time to build a long lasting Mindfulness practice.

A. You know it when you see, feel and hear it. Research shows that Mindfulness practice can transform people’s ability to Lead with flexibility, focus, clarity, innovation and inspiration. In addition to the skills taught in Thriving Minds Wellbeing, Thriving Minds Leaders focuses on enabling Leaders to find the space to grow their Leadership presence, leave distracting stories, habits and mindsets behind and learn to connect fully with those around them. Using a combination of Mindfulness theory and practice, emotional intelligence techniques and tools to build trust, communication and collaboration Thriving Minds Leaders will enable participants to lead with courage, confidence and leadership presence.  It is recommended that the Thriving Minds Wellbeing program is taken as a foundation before Thriving Minds Leaders which can be delivered to individuals or groups in workshop style of various lengths and through 121 coaching sessions.

One on one time with an experienced Mindful meditation teacher, these sessions are a great way to kick start your practice of Mindfulness or build and deepen an existing practice.
